Roughly 1 in 3 cars we check comes back with something the advert never mentioned.

We're on your side
of the deal.

We’re a small team in Manchester. We take the scattered official records about a used car and turn them into one honest report anyone can read — so the person buying knows as much as the person selling.

It started with one bad car.

In 2019 one of us bought a car that looked perfect. Two owners, drove lovely. Nine months later it fell apart, and a mechanic asked the question nobody had thought to ask: has anyone actually looked this car up?

It turned out it had seven owners, had been written off and rebuilt, and had spent two years as a taxi. None of it was secret. It was all sitting in public records — just in four different places, too much hassle to find.

So we made it easy. One plate, one report, one minute. That’s the whole company.

What we believe

Four rules we don’t bend, no matter what.

We show you the facts

Every line comes from an official record, with the date. If we don’t know something, we say so. We never guess.

We use plain words

No jargon, no code words. If your teenager would understand it, we’ve written it right.

We charge once, and that's it

No membership, no saved card, nothing that renews behind your back. You check a car, you pay for that car.

A real person always answers

Get stuck and you’ll reach one of six people, not a robot and not a queue.

What we're trying to do

Buying a used car is one of the biggest things most people pay for, and it’s the one where the buyer knows the least. We want to close that gap.

Not with clever software you need a manual for — with a plain report that tells you what you’re really buying, before the money moves. If we stop one person buying one bad car this week, we’ve done our job.

Ready when you are

Enough about us. Type a plate and see what a car’s really been through.
